I was pondering the other day, as you do. Why are all the playgrounds set up for kids?
I understand the need for a place for children to expend their energy and to play and learn, but why is there so little opportunity for adults to do the same?
I basically love having a toddler which gives me ample opportunity to use the play equipment and not be considered weird! I honestly think we’re missing a trick here, if playtime is necessary and enriching for children why do adults place so little importance on it?
Honestly, I think the world would be a happier place if we gave ourselves outlets to be lost in the moment and just have pure unalterated fun whilst moving our bodies.
So, whilst it may not be practical for everyone to start hogging the play equipment from the kids, I suggest you place as much emphasis on your own happiness and take time out to be joyfully free from concerns and to move with freedom in your heart.
When we start realising that joy matters whatever your age then I think we’ll be on a true path to happiness.
